About Us

We are a dedicated group of enthusiasts in and around the Casino area in northern NSW, Australia. The society was established in 1965 making us 58 years old in 2023!

We have a monthly gathering of orchid enthusiasts and we meet in St Mark’s Hall, Barker Street, Casino at 7.00pm every fourth Thursday.

Members bring along orchids for judging, popular vote, orchids for identification, for sale at certain times, repotting demos, care and fertilizing of orchids, videos and guest speakers.

Trips are organised as well as events, visits to nurseries and many other things.

A free newsletter is available to all members and anyone who would like to sign up (email on the contact page).
